Dr. Allan C. Churukian is the director of Radiance Beauty & Wellness Medical Spa. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Psychology, and in 1991 with a Master of Science Degree in Human Anatomy & Molecular Cell Biology.
Subsequently, he was a researcher at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 1991-93, working on the Human Genome Project helping to develop the genetic map of human DNA with other researchers around the world. Dr. Churukian graduated from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School (now know as the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science) and went on to complete his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
He has been practicing since 2001 as a licensed and board-certified Emergency Medicine and Trauma physician, taking care of those most in need of critical care and life-saving medical evaluation and treatment. Dr. Churukian further continued his interests in research, working in over 45 FDA-approved phase 2 & 3 clinical research trials as a principal and sub-investigator, helping to bring new antibiotics and other therapeutics into the hands of doctors and patients. He has also been published in multiple scholarly research papers in both medicine and science. For these efforts, he was quickly granted Fellowship status in the American College of Emergency Physicians.
In early 2014, Dr. Churukian began his practice in Medical Weight Loss and Patient Wellness, and he continues to focus these practices to provide patients with treatment options to enhance wellness and rejuvenation. In 2017, he started his own business offering IV infusion therapy treatments as a means of rapid physiologic repair and recovery for professional and nonprofessional athletes, regular clients, and those with metabolic and malabsorption disorders looking for advanced health techniques to contribute to their overall longevity and health. He is excited to join with the Radiance team to continue their high-quality medical cosmetic treatments and to enhance the patient experience using state-of-the-art procedures and the newest treatment modalities.
